• L2: Rear Lid Interior Depth (2.5 or 5.25 inches)
• K: Case Body Interior Length (24 inches)
• L1: Front Lid Interior Depth (2.5 or 5.25 inches)
• H: Case Body Interior Height (12 inches)
• W: Case Body Interior Width (24 inches)
• U: Rack height measured in U units (U=1.75”). i.e. 6U=10.5” rack height

• Casters with Mounting System – Hardigg-engineered caster mounting systems enhance mobility, with options for 3.5-inch or 5.0-inch wheel diameters, available in removable or fixed styles. Casters, swivel style only, are Colson or equivalent brand and provide the same button-release convenience of the FastClip™ caster plate available on Single Lid cases. Systems consist of 4 casters, 2 machined aircraft aluminum extrusions and mounting hardware installed on the bottom of the case. Recessed caster mounting extrusions are available for all DE sizes, except DE2121-XX/18/XX, DE2121-XX/30/XX, DE2418-XX/20/XX and DE2652-XX/25/XX (Non-recessed extrusions can be installed on these four sizes). Removable casters can be securely stored within the case lid (5” lids only) and use the same Hardigg FastClip™ mounting plate system.

• Drawers, Rack Slides, and Keyboard Tray – Add functionality with lockable 19-inch rack-mountable drawers (available in 2U, 3U and 4U heights), compact rack slides for direct mounting (standard duty 85 lb. capacity), and keyboard trays designed to accommodate standard-sized keyboards.

• Bezel Plate – Bezel plates add strength with 16-gauge aluminum construction and come with a brushed black anodized finish (available in 1U, 2U, 3U and 4U heights).

• Extra Handle, Coupling Catch, and Panel Screws – These options include a 4-hole extra handle for enhanced portability, elastomeric coupling catches to stack cases together vertically to prevent accidental tipping, and #10/32 x 0.75” panel screws with non-metallic washers (for scratch protection) for easy mounting of internal components (set of 50).

• Front Labels and ATA Labels – Customize your case with a set of 2 “FRONT” labels to ensure proper orientation of lids and Air Transport Association (ATA) labels for compliance with Specification 300 Category I. ATA label set includes: Delicate Unit, Handle with Care, Up Arrows, Label Opposite Side, Place Label Here and ATA Spec 300.

• Adjustable Side Support Rails and Fixed Bottom Rails – Two support rail options to stabilize equipment during installation, providing added security for mounted items.

• Shelves (Fixed and Sliding) – Customized shelving options to accommodate equipment that may not be rack-mountable, enhancing versatility for various applications.

• Epoxy Stencil – Personalize cases with an epoxy stencil available in multiple colors, allowing easy identification and branding. Per MIL-I-43553. Available colors are black, white and yellow. Listed below are popular combinations of the case color and corresponding ink color (one ink color per case):
  • Black ink used on case colors: White, Orange, Yellow, Red, Olive Drab, Light Blue and Dark Green
  • White ink used on case colors: Dark Blue and Black
  • Yellow Ink used on case colors: Grey

• Color Options – Choose from a range of colors to match industry standards or specific needs, with additional options available for orders over ten cases.

• Storage Pouch, Humidity Indicator, and Card Holder – Keep accessories organized with zippered storage pouches mounted in front and/or rear lids. Three available sizes: 10” x 22” x 2.5”, 16” x 22” x 2.5” or 18” x 18” x 2.5”. Monitor internal conditions with a humidity indicator that displays 20%, 30% and 40% humidity ranges. Attach documentation with a metal card holder riveted to the exterior of the case. Available sizes: 3” x 5” and 4” x 6”

• Locking Cable/Hasp and Stainless Hardware – Enhance security with a locking cable for tamper-resistant storage and opt for stainless steel hardware to withstand saltwater or chemical environments.

• Lifting Ring/Tie Down Ring – Welded rings for secure handling and tie-down points, rated to support up to 1,000 lbs., ensure cases can be safely transported in challenging conditions.

• Lid Hangers – Used to store lids conveniently on the side of the case when case is open. A set of 4 hangers for two lids.

• Airtight Case System – This option includes a PRV +/- 0.5PSI setting and gasketing/hardware required to safely maintain correct pressure differential.

• • Level A: Certified Airtight/Watertight for high-stakes military and industrial applications.
  • Level B: Controlled Breather/Splashproof and Rainproof for COTS military and industrial use.
  • Level C: Free Breather/Vented for industrial and commercial use with controlled air exposure.
